In this topic, we learnt about all things Roman, Saxon and Viking!  We read some great books and used websites and other resources to help us understand life in those times, how and why they invaded Britain, and the impact they had on our country.

The topic culminated with a fantastic day of living, raiding and battling like a Viking, thanks to a visit from Olaf (Viking School Days).  We got fully immersed in Viking culture, with the chance to dress up, handle artefacts, hear Viking sagas and take place in a Viking vs Saxons battle.
